| About Us Thanks so much for taking the time to learn a bit more about us! Welcome to La Bella Vita & Co. The term la bella vita literally means 'the beautiful life'. We understand that it's the simple things in life that truly make all the difference...the simple things that make life truly beautiful. You may find it in a sunrise, a child's laugh, a cup of coffee or tea, a good book, or in your very own journal to jot down thoughts and ideas. While we may not be able to get you that cup of coffee (we'd be glad to try), we can certainly make you a one-of-a-kind journal that you will cherish for years to come. All our journals are made from the finest leather and paper from around the world. Our Company La Bella Vita & Co. is based out of a small shop in New Hampshire. To maintain consistent quality, I currently only employ a small group of employees to create La Bella Vita journals. In fact, quite often the journal you will receive is made by yours truly. I may recruit a helper or two during the busy seasons but usually it's just me in my shop creating one of a kind journals for my wonderful customers. Each journal is shaped and crafted by hand and all leather pieces are treated with the utmost care. Our Mission La Bella Vita & Co. was started back in 2005 with two goals in mind. The first was to provide my customers with a fun and personalized shopping experience. The second was to create a better leather journal than what people were used to buying in generic chain stores. After years of creating one-of-a-kind journals for our loyal customers, I think I can say that we’ve done and continue to do just that! I have also found that with every journal comes a story... I have heard so many great stories from my customers I could write a book! Some stories are sad but most fill me with happiness and amazement of the sheer strength of the human spirit. I feel so privileged that a customer is willing to share their most personal experiences. And, ah, to make someone happy if only for a brief moment...and with a journal no less! Each one of us has a story to tell and for that you deserve a very special and intimate shopping experience, unlike what you would receive in chain stores. After all, a journal is a very personal item that deserves personal service. Also, although journal design is very important, I strive to maintain the natural shape and qualities of our leather pieces. It is this standard of rustic authenticity that guarantees you, the customer, a high quality yet incredibly unique journal. Ciao and Happy Writing!
