DESCRIPTION
A beautifully rustic, primitive brown leather compliments the forest
scene on the cover of this lovely journal. The forest image is stamped
onto the leather with a waterproof, fade resistant, and archival quality
ink. In other words, it's not going anywhere and will stay beautiful for
years to come! This journal is complete with a sewn-in ribbon
bookmark in a rich burgundy, to compliment the leather.

PAPER
Each size journal contains 200 hand torn pages (back/front). The paper is a hearty 67 lb. ivory colored vellum (What is vellum?)
card stock that gives the journal a wonderful thickness. Due to its hand torn nature, paper may be slightly uneven and jagged,
causing a wonderfully rustic and aged look.
- Color: Ivory
- Thickness: 67 lb. card stock (32 lb. card stock when extra pages are purchased to prevent journal bulkiness)
- Details: acid & lignin free (archival quality)
- Unlined paper (lined paper available for $5)
This journal is refillable! Click here for details!
BINDING/SHAPING METHOD
Your journal is made completely from scratch in our shop (so we know that it's made correctly); we start with a hand cut piece of
leather and heavy weight card stock glued together for a strong structure. We then shape the binding and hand stitch all the pages
directly to the leather with heavyweight binding thread. This thread is ideal because it allows for a good amount of stretch without
breaking and prevents the pages from tearing out over time. Also if the journal does break for some reason, we do free repairs for
the life of the journal!
