DESCRIPTION
Similar to the Cloak Journal, this deliciously intricate handmade Italian
leather journal is soft and incredibly durable. The outer edge is a straight
cut with rounded edges. It also boasts a unique dual slot closure to keep it
tightly shut. This journal is complete with a sewn-in ribbon bookmark in a
color to compliment your chosen leather. Note: Because leather thickness
varies, 11o lb. card stock is used to strengthen the journal sides and give it
lovely structure.
PAPER
Each size journal contains 200 hand torn pages (back/front). The paper is
a hearty 67 lb. ivory colored vellum (What is vellum?) card stock that gives
the journal a wonderful thickness. Due to its hand torn nature, paper may
be slightly uneven and jagged, causing a wonderfully rustic and aged look.

purchased to prevent journal bulkiness)
- Details: acid & lignin free (archival quality)
- Unlined paper (lined paper available for $5)
BINDING/SHAPING METHOD
This journal is hand bound with heavyweight embroidery thread in ivory to
compliment the color of the paper. All our leather pieces are treated with
the utmost care and shaped and cut by hand.
