DESCRIPTION
This gorgeous handmade Italian leather journal is soft yet incredibly
durable. It has an envelope cover with a wonderfully intricate crisscross
tie closure. The spine also boasts a beautiful array of turquoise colored
stones and glass beads. This journal is complete with a sewn-in ribbon
bookmark to compliment the color of the bead work.
Note: Bead work will vary slightly from what is show. Also, because
leather thickness varies, 11o lb. card stock is used to strengthen the
journal sides and give it lovely structure.
PAPER
Each size journal contains 200 hand torn pages (back/front). The
paper is a hearty 67 lb. ivory colored vellum (What is vellum?) card stock
that gives the journal a wonderful thickness. Due to its hand torn
nature, paper may be slightly uneven and jagged, causing a wonderfully
rustic and aged look.

BINDING/SHAPING METHOD
This journal is hand bound with heavyweight embroidery thread in ivory
to compliment the color of the paper. All our leather pieces are treated
with the utmost care and shaped and cut by hand.
