DESCRIPTION
The outer edge of this beautiful handmade Italian leather journal is
shaped into a lovely wave shaped ‘S’ curve. The binding is carefully
adorned with many different types of silver, turquoise, and sea green
beads and semi precious stones. The colors are reminiscent of the
ocean and sure to fetch you a few compliments! This journal is
complete with a sewn-in ribbon bookmark to compliment the color of
the bead work.
Note: Bead work will vary slightly from what is shown. Also, because
leather thickness varies, 11o lb. card stock is used to strengthen the
journal sides and give it lovely structure.
PAPER
Each size journal contains 200 hand torn pages (back/front). The
paper is a hearty 67 lb. ivory colored vellum (What is vellum?) card
stock that gives the journal a wonderful thickness. Due to its hand
torn nature, paper may be slightly uneven and jagged, causing a
wonderfully rustic and aged look.

are purchased to prevent journal bulkiness)
- Details: acid & lignin free (archival quality)
- Unlined paper (lined paper available for $5)
BINDING/SHAPING METHOD
This journal is hand bound with heavyweight embroidery thread in
ivory to compliment the color of the paper. All our leather pieces are
treated with the utmost care and shaped and cut by hand.
